99th Demention - S/T LP

Yo.. the ninth release of my label, Vulgar, just dropped.
It's a vinyl reissue of the 1995 Bay Area classic 99th Demention self titled album.
It's been remastered from the original DAT and Z-Man did the crazy art, inspired by the cassette cover.
There's a 60 x 30 cm poster inside too.

99th Demention is Z's high school group that he did with his brother King Maz and his school buddies (Rev Cope, Young $lim amongst others..). This is their first album (they did 2, the second being just Z & Slim).
Here's some of the reviews they had back then:

"Extremely dope (...) their originality and new flavor add spice to the life of Bay Area rap and to worldwide hip hop (...) their shit will make you laugh, nod ya head and think" (DJ Stef (RIP), Vinyl Exchange, 1995)

"A fantastic release topped off by great packaging and artwork (...) the lyrics are loaded with underground music politics but they still know how to have fun. Highly recommended!" (P-Minus, Atak catalogue)

It's available here, only 150 copies made:

Z-Man - 4 Hours Of Sleep (Ltd ed. LP)

Very proud to announce the vinyl reissue of this Bay Area classic 4-track album on my one-man label.
It was his second solo effort, originally made in 98, then released in 99 as handmade cassettes. Atak later made a small cd-r rerun of these.

It's considered by most his best, and it's one my favorite rap album ever.
Productions are handled 3/4 by Slim Goodworth of 99th Demention and 1/4 by Vrse Murphy of Sacred Hoop.

There's only 200 copies of this, and it comes with an A4 insert incl. an interview with Z about the making of 4 Hours.

If you're not familiar with it, let's say it's completely raw, eccentric, delirious.. Super dope. There's a couple of tracks' chorus and lines that will stuck in your head for the rest of your life.

The vinyl version is short of 3 tracks compared to the cassette version due to lack of space.

You can listen and buy it:

... Enjoy and thanks for your support! Each cent will go to the making of another dope vinyl reissue.

Young Slim - Steady Stackin

I had no idea this tape existed until I stumbled on this youtube vid a few days ago.

Young Slim is none other than Slim Goodworth / Marcus Pimp West, og member of the 99th Demention (as an MC but also the guy that made most of the beats if I'm correct).
Credits says he produced this album in 1994-1995 on a SP-1200 while in high school.

This is just a rip of the video with separate tracks. If somebody got something better, please holla.
Also, if anyone know if the "Negativety" album the liner notes talk about was ever released..
